Buzzsaw Rock
Time: 3 PM - 6 PM EST
DJ: Chainsaw Wes
BAND INTRODUCTION
This week on Buzzsaw Rock we will be introducing music from a band in Louisville, KY named Hanover. We went this past week and listened to them do an acoustical set and they were very good. They play a good mixture of Alternative Rock and we thought their music was worth a mention on the show.
FEATURED ARTIST
Our featured artist this week will be Ratcliff Bailey and their new albumn “DUECE”. We will hold a brief interview with Tim Ratcliff and Ken Bailey and find out what inspires their efforts.
ABOUT THEM

Tim Ratcliff and Ken Bailey are long time collaborators who started writing together almost by accident, searching for an outlet for our creative energies.
Some 180+ songs later, we continue to follow only two rules: We write what we feel, and we try to do it in a quality way. We currently operate out of a 24 track studio in Ironton, Ohio.
We have been named “Artist of the Year” by Viking Radio. We have marketed songs in the past, having a few near-misses, the most significant being an audience with Phil Collins’ Hit and Run publishing in London.
Our second CD “DEUCE” is now available for airplay.
We don’t follow any particular style in our approach to original music; we continue to draw from our life experiences to find our songs. We would greatly appreciate any consideration for exposure to our music. We are interested in publishing, broadcasting, and, well, anything. We have a website, and are currently the featured artists on Westfield Radio, our 24 hour internet station. All contact information is included below.

Hometown Heros
When I was a young kid I had this conversation with Grandma Singlewide. Since it is election year I thought I would share it with you since, in my opinion, each candidate is full of s**t.
Fred: Grandma, in school today they explained that one day I could run for President of the United States. I’ve decided when I grow up that’s just what I’m gonna do; be President!
Grandma Singlewide: You reccon so huh?
Fred: Yesum, I’ve done made up my mind.
Grandma Singlewide: Well I reccon you might as well go pack yer clothes and just move on out then.
Fred: Why I gotta do that Grandma?
Grandma Singlewide: Cause to be part of this family you have to be hard working and honest. If’in your gonna be a Politician then you’ve already made up yer mind to be a lazy good for nuthin crook!
Fred: Reccon I’ll just go back to work at the mill and forget all that then, Grandma.
Grandma Singlewide: Now that’s the sensible boy we’ve been raising. You run along now.
Thus my career in politics ended before it ever began….
HONEST STORY!
Hey folks, Hometown Heros with Fred Singlewide & Sheila Van Dyke is coming back soon! We’ll keep ya posted.
